Position:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Instructor to teach Pre-Calculus and Calculus to high school students. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with children, skilled at explaining concepts in an engaging way, and committed to fostering academic growth. This role involves delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to curriculum development.
Responsibilities:
- Teach small groups or individual students in Pre-Calculus and Calculus (high school, AP / IB levels)
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons that meet students’ learning needs
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain a positive and encouraging classroom environment
- Collaborate with program staff to support student success
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Math (high school to college level)
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, adaptable, and passionate about working with children
- A Bachelor’s degree (or current university enrollment in a relevant field) is an asset
