Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Food Counter Attendant/Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a courteous manner
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or retail environment preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if required

Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
