Hello! We’re Valbella Gourmet Foods – a traditional European meat processing facility and café nestled in the heart of the Bow Valley in Canmore. We started over 45 years ago with a simple love for fine food and a commitment to creating the highest quality meat for our local communities. Since then, we have grown into one of Western Canada’s best known meat producers and work with some of the finest hotels, restaurants and grocers in Alberta.
We love supporting the local economy and are always on the lookout for talent to grow our team. We are currently looking for a Delivery Driver with a commitment for customer service, a passion for good quality food and shared family values to join our team.

· You are organized and proactive
· You are able to work well independently and with minimal supervision
· You enjoy driving and being the last link in the sales chain
· You have a strong knowledge of Calgary and are able to navigate the city easily
· You take direction when needed and take initiative to support the team
· You are able to adapt to ever changing and demanding situations while completing deliveries
· You share our love for fine food!
About the job
Every role at Valbella is important to our purpose of delivering the best quality experience and food to each customer. This is especially true of our Delivery Drivers, who fill a role that is critical to the success of our business. By delivering finished products to customers and ensuring the delivery truck is maintained in proper working order, the Delivery Driver completes the sales process and allows everyone’s hard work to be shared with our customers.
A successful Delivery Driver will:
· Be responsible for delivering time sensitive, refrigerated goods to Calgary, Cochrane, Canmore and Banff
· Be responsible for various pickups around Calgary
· Handle loading and unloading the truck
· Make weekly garbage and recycling runs
· Keep the truck clean and in good condition
· Be responsible for ensuring regular truck maintenance is scheduled and completed
· Enjoy working alone
· Have a strong knowledge of Calgary’s layout
Required Certifications and Experience:
· Class 5 Drivers License
· Clean drivers abstract
· Prior delivery driving experience
· Able to comfortably operate a large 5 ton truck in demanding situations
· Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack

You will only be required to work day-shifts and as we are closed Sundays, you will always have this day off.
