Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marine Service Manager to lead our service department. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales of marine products and services. This role requires a strong background in dealership operations, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for the boating industry. The Marine Service Manager will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, maintaining high standards of quality, and fostering customer satisfaction to promote repeat business and growth.
Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the marine service department, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control.
- Lead and motivate a team of technicians to ensure efficient and accurate repair and maintenance services.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining repair options, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage sales activities by upselling marine products, accessories, and extended services to customers.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation for all financial activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge in automotive repair and marine systems.
- Maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies necessary for service operations.
- Build strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of marine or automotive sales and service operations.
- Mechanical experience with a solid knowledge of marine engines, systems, and repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated sales ability with experience in upselling products or services.
- Experience in automotive or marine repair is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team efficiently.
- Cash handling experience with attention to accuracy in financial transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.

Pay: $51,208.78-$62,000.00 per year
