Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher/Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, supporting the overall operations of our restaurant or hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, food safety, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and kitchen support
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, work surfaces, and storage areas
- Support the team during busy service times by efficiently managing dishwashing duties
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with health regulations
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to uphold food safety standards
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas when required
Requirements
- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or evenings if required
- Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations is beneficial but not essential
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all tasks
WEEKEND AVAILIBILITY IS A MUST
Pay: $17.60-$20.60 per hour
