The Retail Clerk supports the daily operations of the gift shop ensuring an organized, welcoming, and guest-focused environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Team

Willingness to accept the most effective role.

Ensures the smooth daily operation of the gift shop in accordance with established retail procedures and standards.

Provides coverage across all retail locations throughout the resort, including the Trading Post, Swim Shop Cabana, and outdoor kiosks, as needed.

Keep all areas in like-new condition and website ready.
Guest
-
Ensure guests are greeted and acknowledged consistently, adhering to the 10/5 Rule.

Support merchandising efforts, including product display, store layout, inventory receiving, stocking, and pricing.

Delivers exceptional guest service through suggestive selling and personalized assistance.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation of all gift shop areas, including routine tasks such as sweeping, dusting, and merchandise upkeep.

Communicate with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Financial

Protecting company assets by adhering to policies and procedures.

Assist with all cash handling duties, including operation of the POS system and register transactions.

Physical Requirements

Capable of walking, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and reaching up to and including above shoulder level for duration of shift.

Capable of crouching/squatting and climbing multiple flights of stairs.

Dexterity of the fingers and hands with ability to squeeze hands, twist and rotate wrists and elbows.
- Ability to do foot pedal action.

Ability to stuff character toys for up to 30 minutes at a time in a seated position.

Ability to push a large cart of garbage up to 25lbs
-
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25lbs.
-
Capable of working in a loud and bright environment.
-
Capable of working in a hot, humid, chlorinated and loud environment when in Swim Shop.

Ability to hear for communication with guests, has spatial perception.
Additional Requirements
Newly hired Pack Members must submit a completed police clearance to Human Resources. Employment may begin before the results are received, based on the Pack Member’s confirmation that they have no unpardoned criminal convictions.
