We are a family owned business specializing in the construction and excavation industry. Our main business activities include site preparation, land development, road building, sewer and water installations, and landscape construction. We also perform snow removal during winter months. We are looking to hire a reliable and dependable individual to join our team, based in Antigonish County.
Responsibilities:
Ability to perform physical labor as instructed (loading and unloading materials, shoveling, raking, compacting, etc.)
Assist and take direction from equipment operators and other co workers when necessary
Re-fueling heavy equipment & vehicles
Proper use and maintenance of tools & equipment
Comfortable working in all weather conditions
Requirements:
Class 5 drivers license with the ability to get to and from worksite on their own
WHMIS & First Aid an asset
Must have own standard PPE (steel toe work boots)
Must conduct themselves professionally to co workers and customers
Must have the ability to work as part of a team, and independently if necessary
Must be able to problem solve as part of a team and independently if necessary
Monday to Friday work week
Hourly rate of pay to be discussed based on experience
