Responsibilities
- Experience on operate drill 40x55 or equivalent. Falcon 5 locate box.
- Operate and oversee heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, backhoes, and machinery to prepare work sites and facilitate drilling operations.
- Conduct precise horizontal directional drilling (HDD) activities, including locating underground utilities and guiding drill heads to ensure accurate installation of pipelines or cables.
- Maintain thorough documentation of drilling activities, site inspections, safety checks, and project progress reports.
- Collaborate with civil teams to coordinate site layouts, excavation plans, and paving operations for seamless project flow.
- Manage and operate construction equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Develop new business opportunities by engaging with clients as a Business Developer or supporting sales initiatives within the construction sector.
- Support team training on heavy equipment operation and technical procedures to enhance overall site productivity.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment including drill, locate box, loaders and excavators.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently is an asset.
- Familiarity with horizontal directional drilling (HDD) techniques and related tools.
- Construction experience with a focus on underground utilities installation or related projects.
- Valid commercial driver’s license G or AZ license is strong asset.
- Knowledge of safety standards in construction environments; ability to implement safety measures proactively.
- Nice-to-have skills include proficiency in paving operations, grader operation, dozer operation, heavy equipment operation certifications, as well as experience with backhoe operation and loader handling.

Pay: $2,933.33-$100,000.00 per month
