Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our financial data. Duties
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations including data entry and record keeping
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop to process transactions accurately
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to verify financial accuracy
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial records
- Assist with budgeting processes and financial reporting for management review
- Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
- Support payroll processing and related compliance activities
- Prepare financial reports as needed to support decision-making processes
Experience
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within a similar industry
- Proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks Desktop
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll processing, and financial reporting
- Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Ability to perform detailed account analysis and maintain accurate records
- Familiarity with budgeting processes is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
