Business Systems Analyst -FTE-Toronto(Hybrid (3 days a week)) -
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or equivalent role supporting enterprise software implementations
Demonstrated experience working with Salesforce implementations (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud preferred)
Experience supporting financial services, wealth management, or banking operations a strong plus
Proven track record of successful requirements gathering, testing, and UAT coordination on complex projects
Salesforce Certifications
Salesforce Certified Associate or Administrator (required or required within 2 months of hire)
Salesforce Certified Business Analyst (preferred)
Salesforce Certified Financial Services Cloud Accreditaiton (preferred)
Technical Knowledge
Solid understanding of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud data model, objects (Account, Contact, Asset, Financial Account, Relationship), and standard features
Working knowledge of Salesforce configuration (validation rules, workflow rules, process builder, flows) vs. custom development trade-offs
Familiarity with Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, change sets, sandboxes) and integration patterns (APIs, middleware)
Experience with testing tools (TestRail, Jira, Salesforce Navigator, or equivalent)
Basic understanding of database concepts (data relationships, ETL processes, data governance)
Knowledge of enterprise application integration and data synchronization patterns
Business Analysis Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to break down complex problems into actionable solutions
Excellent documentation skills; ability to create clear, concise specifications, process maps, and user guides
Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, or equivalent) to support insights and recommendations
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in sprint cycles
Ability to elicit and validate requirements through structured techniques (interviews, workshops, user story mapping)
Strong functional knowledge of wealth management or financial services operations (client relationships, account management, advisory processes, compliance workflows)
