Job Summary
ADVANCED SERVO TECHNOLOGIES, a leader in Repair and Service of Industrial Automation seeks a skilled and experienced Industrial Automation / Electronics Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repair and service of Industrial Automation Components, such as Variable Frequency Drives, Servo Drives and Amplifiers, Power Supplies, Displays and HMI Units, etc. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting automation equipment down to a component level.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on industrial electronic automation equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in component level analysis, using diagnostics equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, huntron trackers, etc.
- Proficiency in soldering / de-soldering PCB components
Experience
- Proven / past experience in industrial automation repair or as an industrial electrician is preferred.
- Strong electrical knowledge of electronic components such as capacitors, transistors, resistors, diodes, optocouplers, integrated circuits, etc
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Past experience in any of the major brand automation systems, ie: Bosch Rexroth / Indramat, Fanuc, Yaskawa, Allen Bradley, Siemens.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
