Are you passionate about people and driven to make a difference? We're looking for a talented and experienced professional to join our team for a temporary full-time position based out of the Peace River, AB office. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources (HR) Assistant for Advanced Paramedic Ltd. (APL) is responsible for supporting the HR functions, in collaboration with the HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment processes, including writing job postings, advertising on social media channels and screening resumes from prospective employees.
- Provide administrative HR support, collaborating with the HR Manager.
- Prepare and send offer letters within establish timelines.
- Assist with other tasks relating to the onboarding and offboarding process.
- Monitor the HR email and respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner.
- Administer APL's employee benefits programs.
- Maintain appropriate employee databases, paying attention to detail and accuracy.
- Manage APL's Perks and Recognition Programs in consultation with the HR Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma plus experience in an administrative support role is required.
- Completion of a certificate or diploma in a post secondary program in Human Resources Management is an asset.
- Excellent customer service experience, interpersonal, attention to detail and communication skills are essential for the role.
- Computer experience using Microsoft Office programs and an intermediary level of competency learning new technologies is required.
- Most possess good judgment in dealing with confidential matters.
Position Information
- Salary Range: $48,000 -52,000 per annum
- Work location: Peace River, AB - In Office
- Schedule: 4 Day Work Week (Monday through Thursday: 8am - 5pm)
- Temporary (9 months) - possibility of extension
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
