Job Location: Sturgeon County, AB
Our client is seeking experienced JM Millwrights to support industrial maintenance operations, focusing on equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and production efficiency in a heavy industrial environment.
What's the Job?
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, pumps, presses, gearboxes, bearings, motors, and material handling systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns.
- Align, dismantle, and reassemble machinery as required.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to support production targets.
- Ensure all tasks are completed safely and in compliance with workplace policies and procedures.
What's Needed?
- Journeyperson Millwright certification (preferred) or equivalent industrial maintenance experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Millwright or Industrial Maintenance Mechanic role within manufacturing, processing, or heavy industry.
- Hands-on experience with conveyor systems, bulk/solid material handling equipment, presses, pumps, and rotating equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
