Key Responsibilities
Dental Assistant Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols.
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (where applicable).
- Prepare dental materials and equipment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Occasional Front Desk Receptionist Duties
- Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Process payments and assist with insurance claims.
- Maintain patient records and update information.
- Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
New Graduates welcome
Certified Dental Assistant (Level I or Level II, as required by provincial regulations)
HARP certification (if applicable).
Must be able to speak english, cantonese/mandarin a strong asset to have.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Positive attitude and willingness to support both clinical and administrative teams.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
