Position Details
The University of Lethbridge Faculty of Fine Arts is accepting applications for a full-time, continuing AUPE Executive and Administrative Support 8 position commencing as soon as possible.
Reporting to the Operations Manager of the Faculty of Fine Arts with communication and day-to-day tasks assigned by the Chairs of New Media and Music, Art, and Drama, this position is responsible for providing administrative support to all departments in the Faculty of Fine Arts and is considered a key position within the frontline operations of the Faculty. The administrative tasks completed by this role help to ensure the successful administration of department meetings, the music studio program, faculty and staff onboarding/offboarding, key management, payroll/timesheets for casual employees, course evaluations, surveys, textbooks, licensing, and mailing lists. The position also provides supplementary support for the Dean’s Office and the Fine Arts Student Program Services Office as assigned.
Position Qualifications
- College diploma, or equivalent combination of years of experience and education
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to learn and work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with a variety of individuals and groups including students, faculty, staff, members of the broader university community, and the general public
- Background which includes knowledge of fine arts is an asset.
Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$4,017.00 - $4,469.00 monthly
Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$4,017.00 - $4,921.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 8)
