Job Overview:
As a Package Handler/Warehouse Clerk for our home improvement store, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and distributing merchandise efficiently. Your role ensures smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and timely order fulfillment to support store sales and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Stocking & Inventory Management:
- Organize and store merchandise in proper warehouse locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
- Assist in cycle counts and periodic stock audits.
Order Picking & Fulfillment:
- Pick and prepare customer orders, contractor deliveries, and store replenishment stock.
- Ensure items are correctly labeled, packaged, and staged for pickup or shipment.
- Coordinate with drivers and store associates to ensure timely dispatch.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $21.82-$25.79 per hour
