Located in Chilliwack, Canex Building Supplies is a leading supplier to builders and contractors serving the single-family, multi-family residential, light commercial, and agricultural markets throughout the Lower Mainland.
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team. This position is available on either a part-time or full-time basis, depending on the successful candidate's availability and experience.
The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in completing work accurately and efficiently, and is eager to learn about our products and operations. Responsibilities
· Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
· Build and stage customer and delivery orders accurately
· Load and unload trucks, customer vehicles, and incoming shipments
· Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory
· Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard environment
· Provide excellent customer service when assisting customers with pickups
· Follow all company safety policies and procedures
· Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
· Previous warehouse, yard, or forklift experience is considered an asset
· Forklift certification is an asset but training may be provided
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Positive attitude and strong work ethic
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Ability to safely lift and move building materials and products
