Our At Last Forest Schools program is looking for summer staff who have availability to work for one week this summer. We have a position in our Lindsay (Ken Reid Conservation) location for 1 week of camp; August 17-21. These are 8 hour days, Monday - Friday (8:30-3:30 with additional prep time allotted). Training will take place online prior.
At Last Forest Schools takes a creative approach to education that fosters emergent and play based learning opportunities for students. To compliment our current team of teachers, we are hiring individuals who are passionate in alternative education and have experience working with kids.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled or graduated with a teaching degree, Forest School practitioner course, ECE, CYW, and/or significant experience teaching children (especially in the outdoors).
- First aid/CPR
- Passed Vulnerable Sector Check
