Our head office in Kingsville, ON is currently seeking a Purchasing Analyst to join our team! This role supports procurement and supply chain operations by analyzing purchasing data, tracking vendor performance, and helping business stakeholders make informed sourcing decisions. Working closely with the purchasing and operations teams, this role provides accurate, timely reporting and analysis to improve purchasing efficiency and cost control.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
- Prepare clear reports and summaries for purchasing management to support day-to-day decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records and support data integrity within the ERP/MRP system.
- Assist in developing and monitoring key purchasing KPIs (cost savings, lead times, order accuracy, etc.).
- Support the creation of RFPs, price comparisons, and vendor scorecards.
- Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and finance teams to ensure consistent, reliable reporting.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize purchasing processes and reporting tools.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed to support purchasing and business planning.
Education/Background Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or data analysis.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics NAV, or similar).
- Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of purchasing/procurement processes and vendor management basics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly to internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of integrity, confidentiality, and reliability.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
