Part Time Commercial Aquarium Service Specialist

Concrete Blonde Aquatics is seeking a reliable, knowledgeable, and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Commercial Aquarium Service Technician.
This position is focused on the maintenance and care of commercial aquariums at client locations. The ideal candidate is experienced with aquarium husbandry, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in maintaining healthy, attractive aquatic displays. For the right candidate, there is strong potential for increased hours and long-term growth within the company.
Job Responsibilities
Aquarium Maintenance & Service
Perform routine maintenance on commercial aquarium systems, including:
- Water changes
- Filter and equipment maintenance
- Gravel and décor cleaning
- Algae management
- Water testing and parameter monitoring
- General aquarium health assessments
Livestock Care
- Monitor the health and well-being of fish and aquatic plants
- Identify and report potential health or equipment issues
- Perform livestock additions and acclimation when required
- Ensure all aquariums remain clean, healthy, and visually appealing
Client Service
- Maintain professional relationships with commercial clients
- Communicate service updates and recommendations clearly
- Represent Concrete Blonde Aquatics in a professional manner at all client locations
- Provide basic aquarium care guidance when requested
Requirements
- Experience maintaining aquariums
- Strong understanding of aquarium equipment, filtration, and water chemistry
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving and observational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Professional, dependable, and customer-focused attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with planted aquariums and aquatic livestock
- Drivers license

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
