Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a deep understanding of medical terminology, along with experience in a hospital setting. As an Acupuncturist, you will provide holistic treatment options to patients, helping them manage pain and improve overall well-being through acupuncture techniques.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their health needs and treatment goals.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient conditions and preferences.
- Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients about acupuncture, its benefits, and complementary therapies for improved health.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and progress in accordance with medical standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in acupuncture and holistic health practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in a hospital environment is preferred, demonstrating the ability to work effectively within a healthcare team.
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication to build rapport with patients.
- Familiarity with medical terminology to ensure clear communication with colleagues and accurate documentation of patient care.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple patients and treatment plans efficiently.
