About the Role
Netsanak Wekowaw is seeking a dedicated and organized Senior Administrator to join our team. This is a multifaceted role designed for a high-level professional who can act as the operational heartbeat for our current locations and support our growth into new communities.
You will balance front-line communication, essential administrative support, and fundamental financial record-keeping. Because we serve multiple communities, flexibility and a willingness to travel between our Edmonton and Wabasca offices (and future locations) are essential components of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Multi-Site Operations & Communication
- Act as a central point of contact for the organization, managing professional phone and email correspondence across multiple locations.
- Coordinate day-to-day office logistics for both current and upcoming sites to ensure a consistent and productive environment.
- Provide high-level administrative assistance to the leadership team, including document preparation and scheduling.

Financial Administration (Support to Finance Director)
- - Manage daily financial entries using QuickBooks Online, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.
- - Oversee expense tracking, including the systematic inputting of receipts and management of organizational subscriptions.
- - Assist with basic accounts payable/receivable tasks to support the Finance Director in broader financial health and reporting.

Community & Field Expertise
- - Apply specialized knowledge of the children's services sector to assist with documentation, compliance, and reporting.
- - Engage authentically with Indigenous groups, partners, and community members, ensuring all interactions align with our commitment to cultural safety and organizational values.

Requirements
Mobility & Travel: A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel are mandatory.
This person must be able to move between offices (including Wabasca) and support future site launches as the organization grows.
- Sector Knowledge: A mandatory background in Children’s Services. Understanding the unique requirements and impact of this field is essential.
- Cultural Competency: Experience working with Indigenous groups and a strong understanding of Indigenous community dynamics and protocols.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong, practical experience with QuickBooks Online and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Administrative Excellence: Proven experience in office management, with a knack for organizing digital files and physical records across a multi-site framework.
- Weekend Hours: Occasionally, weekend work may be required.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
