Loader Operator – Grapple
Loadstar Dispatchers (1963) Ltd. is an Alberta-owned and operated transportation company based in Edmonton. Since 1963, we have provided transportation, logistics, and storage solutions to the oil and gas, power, utility, and industrial sectors throughout Western Canada.
We are currently seeking an experienced Loader Operator – Grapple to join our growing team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience operating a loader with a grapple attachment (required)
- Experience using a stinger to unload containers of pipe
- Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and adaptable to perform a variety of assigned duties
- Well-organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and safe operating procedures
- Class1 License an Asset
Responsibilities
- Operate loader equipment equipped with a grapple attachment safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials within the yard
- Respond to emergency work requests when needed
- Maintain equipment inspections and report maintenance requirements
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
