Seapark Industrial Glove Recycling (“Seapark”) is an innovative company located in the Niagara Region focused on environmentally friendly cleaning solutions for our customer’s needs. Seapark is a market leader in industrial laundry which includes the cleaning of gloves, shop towels, uniforms, and more. We are currently looking to hire a Full-Time Processor to join our growing company!
Summary
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Processor is responsible for sorting clean rags and other items in an efficient and timely manner. Our Processors are fast-paced, innovative individuals who are dedicated team players for our work environment.
Hours of Work
- Hours of work are set Monday to Friday. Our afternoon shift is 2:30pm-11pm.
- Overtime may be requested when notified - overtime is paid after 40 working hours in a week.
Qualifications
- Completion of high school education (or equivalent) is required.
- 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Able to follow detailed process instructions under tight deadlines.
- Be diligent and have strong attention to detail.
- Able to work in a team-based environment.
Physical Demands
- Standing for extended periods of time.
- Moving, lifting, carrying items weighing up to 40 pounds - 80 pounds.
- Bending, using lower back strength to unload deep cages and/or bins.
- Handling of different materials.
- Repetitive movements/tasks are required.
