Role Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performing month-end close across multiple entities, documenting processes as part of the monthly close routine and reporting status updates to management
- Identifying issues related to financial reporting or processes and bringing forward, with recommendations for improvement
- Maintaining audit quality working papers as part of monthly processes to facilitate review and audit
- Working with other departments to facilitate efficient monthly reporting and understanding of business drivers
- Supporting the implementation of new systems, software and related processes
- Ensuring monthly sales tax returns are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Creating routine and ad-hoc financial analyses and communicating the results to stakeholders
- Preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations across multiple financial accounts (fixed assets, intercompany, revenues, etc)
- Supporting various initiatives to either improve efficiency of or automate various components of the finance function
- Contributing to a team-first environment by supporting fellow team members and contributing to a positive work environment
- Assisting with audit requests from financial auditors and government agencies
- Occasional travel may be required between clinics
- Mentoring and developing finance team members through knowledge sharing, skill-building guidance, and fostering professional growth to build organizational capability.

Role Qualifications .
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA designation required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate finance environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Self-starter with keen attention to detail and the ability to meet key business deadlines
