Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before failure
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and procedures
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems using appropriate diagnostic techniques
- Repair or replace defective parts utilizing hand tools and power tools efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with operations teams to prioritize maintenance tasks for minimal downtime
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to restore operations swiftly
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers
- Skilled in operating power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues methodically and implement effective solutions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
