As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to help expand our client base, build meaningful customer relationships, and drive revenue growth.
Job Overview
The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing relationships with prospective clients, and managing the sales process from initial outreach through to closing. Working closely with company leadership, this individual will identify customer needs, present Autokrator.ai's solutions, and help organizations understand the value of AI-driven cybersecurity.
Typical customers range from SME to Enterprise covering sectors ranging from Fintech, Credit Unions, E-commerce and brick & mortar, military, and mining.
This role is ideal for an ambitious, results-oriented professional who enjoys building relationships, solving business challenges, and contributing to the growth of an innovative technology company.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and inbound lead follow-up.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients and key decision-makers.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and discovery meetings.
- Understand customer business needs and recommend appropriate AI-powered cybersecurity solutions.
- Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, and closing.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and other sales documentation.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and pipeline information within the company's CRM system.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall company revenue objectives.
- Represent Autokrator.ai at industry conferences, trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging cybersecurity threats, artificial intelligence technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Collaborate with internal leadership and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales process.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales, business development, account management, or a related customer-facing role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Applicants need to be legally entitled to work in Canada (no sponsorship)
- Ability to travel will be required between 20% to 40%.
- Background check will be required
Preferred
- Min of 2 years experience selling B2B software, SaaS, cybersecurity, or other technology solutions.
- Experience conducting software demonstrations and customer presentations.
- Familiarity with Compliance (ISO 27001, PCI frameworks etc), AI, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, or enterprise software.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
