Duties
- Diagnose hardware and software issues on various mobile devices, including Android and iOS platforms
- Perform repairs on screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, and internal components using hand tools and schematics
- Troubleshoot operating systems such as Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows to resolve software glitches
- Test repaired devices thoroughly to ensure optimal performance before returning them to customers
- Assist customers with retail sales by explaining repair options and providing technical advice on mobile devices and accessories
- Use analysis skills to identify root causes of device malfunctions and recommend appropriate solutions
- Maintain detailed repair logs and documentation for each service performed to ensure quality control
Skills
- Strong knowledge of mobile devices across multiple operating systems including Android and iOS
- Proficiency with computer hardware components, schematics, and troubleshooting software issues
- Experience using hand tools for delicate repairs on small electronic components
- Familiarity with macOS and Windows operating systems for comprehensive troubleshooting
- Excellent analysis skills to diagnose complex hardware or software problems efficiently
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers with varying levels of technical understanding
- Retail sales experience is a plus, enabling you to assist customers effectively while promoting our services
