We are seeking a friendly and experienced Meat Cutter to ensure that the meat area of our supermarket is well-maintained and running efficiently.

Reporting to the Meat Manager you will be responsible for the following:
- Demonstrating Four Rivers Co-operative’s values of Responsibility, Integrity, Service, and Excellence
- Working co-operatively with team members who deliver excellent service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here”
- Cutting, slicing, preparing, and wrapping meat
- Stocking shelves, rotating, and facing products, building displays
- Ensuring that high standards are maintained
- Maintaining sanitation standards by following Food Safe protocol
- Keeping sales floor organized and clean
- General housekeeping duties
What you bring:
- Meat cutting experience is considered an asset
Knowledge of food safe handling practices and sanitation protocols
Must be willing and able to work in a refrigerated environment on a daily basis
Adaptable, organized, efficient and committed
Be a team member with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands
A commitment to quality and an eye for detail
Appropriate computer skills and technical knowledge
Able to lift up to 50lbs as required
Retail experience in a similar position would be considered an asset
