Elevate Cabinets is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Cabinet Designer to join our growing team. We specialize in custom cabinetry and millwork solutions, delivering exceptional craftsmanship and innovative designs for residential and commercial projects.
About the Role
As a Cabinet Designer, you will be responsible for creating accurate cabinet designs, shop drawings, and production-ready plans using Mozaik software. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and our production team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Design custom cabinetry and millwork projects using Mozaik software.
- Create detailed shop drawings, production drawings, and CNC-ready files.
- Review architectural plans, specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare material take-offs and cut lists.
- Coordinate with project managers and production staff to ensure design accuracy.
- Revise and update drawings as required throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and aligned with client expectations.
- Maintain organized project documentation and design files.
Qualifications
- Experience using Mozaik Cabinet Software is required.
- Experience in cabinet design, millwork, woodworking, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with custom residential cabinetry and millwork.
- Understanding of cabinet construction methods and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of CNC machining and production workflows.
- Experience preparing estimates and material lists.
