- Greet customers warmly and provide helpful service on the sales floor.
- Efficiently handle cash, debit, and credit transactions using our POS system.
- Unload product deliveries, restock shelves, and keep merchandise displays looking sharp.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in both the sales area and the backroom.
Responsibilities
- Strictly enforce BC liquor laws by verifying IDs for anyone appearing under 30.
- Balance cash drawers accurately and secure store transactions.
- Monitor stock levels on shelves and report inventory shortages.
- Open or close the retail shop following standard operating and safety protocols.
Requirements & Experience
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset, but not required!
- Certification: Must hold a valid Serving It Right (SIR) certificate (or get it before your first day).
- Age Limit: Must be 19+ (the legal age to handle liquor in British Columbia).
- Physical: Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs (boxes of beer and wine).
- Availability: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
