Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing wash & fold laundry services as well as maintaining a pristine and clean environment at the laundromat. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are valued. Prior cleaning experience is required; training on laundry will be provided. The Laundry Attendant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through cleanliness and efficiency . In addition to strong communication skills, some computer skills are required to operate the order and billing systems.
Duties
- Operate and clean laundry equipment efficiently and safely
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize guest laundry items
- Ensure all laundry is handled in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including cleaning machines and workspaces
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Assist with other cleaning duties around the laundromat including exterior entrance and windows as needed
- Follow proper procedures for stain removal and fabric care to prolong linen quality
Requirements
- Experience with laundry operations or cleaning services is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 50 pounds)
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest
- Ability to follow safety protocols and operate laundry equipment safely
