ATAC LAW is a growing law firm looking for another intake overflow specialist to join our team in South Burnaby.
About the Role
You'll be a key part of our intake team, stepping in to assist clients that the other intake staff can't get to in time. It is the responsibility of our intake staff to be the ones who make sure clients get an astounding first impression. Understanding what they need, representing the firm well, and helping them feel confident about taking the next step.
Because many of the clients we serve are more comfortable communicating in Mandarin, your language skills will help us make sure no one falls through the cracks simply because of a language barrier or a busy moment on the phones. Complete fluency in both Mandarin and English is a requirement for this role.
Beyond overflow intake, you'll keep track of client interactions, follow up on inquiries, coordinate with our lawyers and staff to get new files moving, and handle administrative tasks that keep things running smoothly.
What We're Looking For
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, with strong communication skills in both.
- A background in sales or customer service who knows how to build trust quickly, even with a brief first interaction
- Strong communication skills. The role requires comfortability on the phone, in person, and over email.
- An administrative or legal background is a bonus, but we're prioritizing the right personality and skills over credentials.
- Organized and detail-oriented. Data entry and communication are vital at a law firm, and whoever we hire needs to hold these in high regard.
- Someone who can come to understand our offerings and ensures that clients are aware of what we can provide for them.
- A proactive individual who can be trusted to complete their responsibilities without the need of continual reminders.
