Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Cook to join our team. The Lead Cook will play a key role in day-to-day kitchen operations, supporting menu execution, supervising line staff, and ensuring consistency and quality in every dish that leaves the kitchen. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well with others, and has a passion for creating great food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute menu items with precision, consistency, and efficiency
- Assist with training, guiding, and supporting line cooks and kitchen staff
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness
- Support menu specials, prep, and event offerings as needed
- Monitor inventory, portioning, and minimize food waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with management to maintain a positive, team-focused kitchen environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or Lead Cook in a restaurant setting
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of culinary techniques
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and consistency
- Food Handler’s Certification required
