Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to join our team, providing essential support to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, and home care settings. This role is ideal for those passionate about senior care, working with individuals with disabilities, and making a positive impact on clients' quality of life. Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Support with medication administration following established protocols and documentation procedures
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring nutritional needs are met
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Monitor residents’ health status and report any concerns to supervising healthcare professionals
- Support clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments through tailored care approaches
- Assist with activities that promote independence and well-being
- Follow all safety guidelines and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Ability to administer medications accurately following protocols
- Compassionate attitude with excellent caregiving skills and patience
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and meal preparation
- Certification or training in caregiving or related fields is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Must be reliable, respectful, and committed to providing high-quality care in a professional manner
