Alberta Roofing & Renovation is looking for a skilled and motivated construction worker to join our team. We specialize in roofing and renovations, offering a wide range of interior and exterior construction services. This position is ideal for someone with experience in multiple areas of construction who enjoys working on different types of projects and learning new skills.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working on both residential exterior and interior projects, including roofing, renovations, repairs, and general construction work. We are looking for someone who can adapt to different tasks, work independently when required, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities may include:
- Roofing installation, repairs, inspections, and maintenance
- Asphalt shingle roofing and roof-related repairs
- Soffit, fascia, and eavestrough installation and repairs
- Siding installation and exterior finishing work
- Deck construction, repairs, and finishing
- Interior renovation work including bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, and general repairs
- Drywall installation, taping, patching, and finishing
- Insulation and ventilation improvements
- General carpentry and framing work
- Material handling, job site preparation, and clean-up
- Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Providing professional-quality workmanship while meeting project deadlines
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in construction, roofing, or renovations is an asset
- Knowledge of multiple areas of residential construction is preferred
- Ability to use common construction tools and equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
