Loonie Toons Pontoons and Powersports is currently seeking to fill the role of a Service Writer with immediate availability. Loonie Toons is a vibrant family owned and operated business built around family values, teamwork and customer service. Applicants can expect a lighter offseason workload and a bustling and busy environment in spring, summer and fall with longer hours. Applicants must be highly organized, practice good communication skills interpersonally and clerically, demonstrate responsibility and dedication
Knowledge of marine parts, powersports such as UTV, ATVs and side by side engines would be a valued ASSET!
In addition, all applicants should demonstrate the following abilities:
- Excellent computer skills within the Google/Gmail workspace
- Ability to create work orders summing parts and labour and creating invoices for customers and work orders for staff to complete the jobs with a balanced workload
- Experience with scheduling and customer service, in addition be able to deal with customers frequently to schedule jobs for their boat/motor/trailers for service and repairs
- Ability to be organized and maintain an organized workspace and storefront
- Awareness and dedication for monitoring staff and delegating work, ensuring productivity with the correct tools and support for staff to stay productive while helping where required
- Ensure customer satisfaction in all things
- Record and keep filing for all customers and all jobs that come through the service shop
- Operation of a cash till, Moneris system for credit cards, complete sales and manage storefront.
Additional Information: - This position reports to the General Manager - This position requires team members to work varying hours, seasonal overtime, and shifts during days, evenings, and weekends
