Are you looking to build a long-term career in the HVAC industry? We are seeking a motivated Junior HVAC Installation Technician who wants to learn from experienced professionals and grow into an Experienced HVAC technician.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Gas Technician 3 (G3) license who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to develop a career in residential heating and cooling.
Reporting To: Service Manager
What You’ll Be Doing
You will work alongside our installation and service team while learning to install and service:
- Furnaces
- Central air conditioners
- Heat pumps
- Tank and tankless water heaters
- Gas fireplaces
- Humidifiers
- Air filtration systems
- HRVs and ERVs
- Thermostats
- Gas piping
- Residential ductwork
- Residential duct cleaning
As your skills develop, you’ll take on more responsibility and receive ongoing training.
QualificationsRequired
- Gas Technician 3 (G3) licence (minimum)
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to work independently when required
- Ability to follow instructions and company procedures
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual
Assets
- Leadership skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and trust with customers quickly
- Previous HVAC, construction, sheet metal, plumbing, gas fitting, or mechanical experience
- Experience with residential installations
