Position Summary
We are currently hiring experienced Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) and Lane Closure Technicians (LCTs) to join our team. Successful candidates will be responsible for implementing safe traffic control measures in accordance with approved Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), WorkSafeBC regulations, and the BC Traffic Control Manual.
Responsibilities
- Safely direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
- Set up, maintain, inspect, and remove traffic control devices.
- Implement lane closures according to approved Traffic Management Plans.
- Conduct pre-job safety assessments and hazard identification.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, crews, emergency services, and the public.
- Complete required paperwork and daily documentation.
- Ensure all traffic control equipment is maintained and used correctly.
- Follow company safety policies and WorkSafeBC regulations at all times.
Minimum RequirementsTraffic Control Person (TCP)
- Valid BCCSA/WorkSafeBC-approved Traffic Control Person certification.
- Minimum 1 year of traffic control experience preferred.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- CSA-approved safety boots and required PPE.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
Lane Closure Technician (LCT)
- Valid LCT certification.
- Experience implementing lane closures on municipal and provincial roadways.
- Ability to read and execute Traffic Management Plans (TMPs).
- Experience operating arrow boards, message boards, and traffic control equipment.
- Strong knowledge of the BC Traffic Control Manual.
- Clean driving record.
- Experience towing trailers is considered an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Level 1 Occupational First Aid (OFA).
- Traffic Management Plan (TMP) experience.
- Experience working on municipal, utility, and highway projects.
- A valid driving Licence and record is an asset.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts
- Night shifts (as required)
- Weekend work available(as required)
Work Location
Various project sites throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
