Role: MS Dynamics 365 Functional Analyst
Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire
Rate: $85.00-$90.00 CAD per hour INC
Location: Edmonton, AB or Calgary, AB (two days per week in office)

6-8+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
-
Strong functional knowledge of one or more of:
-
Finance
-
Project Management & Accounting
-
Human Resources
-
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional solutions.
-
Experience performing ERP configuration and functional support.
-
Strong understanding of business process analysis, redesign, and documentation.
-
Experience creating and working with:
-
Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
-
Configuration documentation
-
Business process documentation
-
Solid understanding of finance concepts and ERP functionality.
-
Experience supporting ERP testing activities including UAT and regression testing.
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
-
Ability to explain technical functionality in business-friendly language.
-
Highly collaborative with a continuous improvement mindset.
-
Comfortable working across multiple business teams.
-
Partner with business stakeholders to understand, document, and analyze business requirements.
-
Translate business needs into scalable Dynamics 365 functional solutions.
-
Provide expert guidance on Dynamics 365 capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
-
Recommend process improvements that maximize ROI across the Dynamics 365 platform.
-
Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
-
Configure Dynamics 365 to align with evolving business requirements.
-
Ensure standardized and efficient business processes across functional areas.
-
Investigate and troubleshoot functional issues within Dynamics 365.
-
Reproduce issues in sandbox environments.
-
Perform data corrections and configuration updates where required.
-
Support root cause analysis and issue resolution.
-
Maintain ERP configurations including:
-
Workflows
-
Business rules
-
Parameters
-
Security settings
-
Functional configurations
-
Support minor enhancements and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
-
Assess the impact of system changes across business functions.
-
Support change management activities.
-
Participate in release planning and deployment activities.
-
Coordinate and support:
-
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
-
Regression Testing
-
Functional validation
-
Develop and maintain:
-
Functional documentation
-
Runbooks
-
Support procedures
-
Knowledge articles
-
Contribute to the organization's Known Error Database (KEDB).
-
Act as the primary liaison between business users and IT.

Build trusted relationships across multiple business units.
-
Provide ongoing advice on Dynamics best practices and process improvements.
