Duties
- Operate rolling machines and overhead cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials or equipment with precision.
- Set-up, operate, and trouble shout the hydraulic plate rolling machine
- Ability to ready and interpret part drawings
- Knowledge of carbon steel grades and features
- Process parts according the specific instructions from the work orders
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding load status, safety concerns, and operational updates.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during operation to prevent accidents or injuries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating overhead cranes, rolling machines.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to crane operation certified preferred
- Strong mathematical skills and measurement skills
- Ability to utilize measuring tools, hand, and power tools
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring safety compliance.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to crane operation and heavy machinery use.
- Computer literate.
- Must be able to work afternoon shift but train for 3-8wks on dayshift
This role is integral to maintaining efficient production workflows while prioritizing safety and teamwork across our operations.
Pay: $22.00 per hour
