Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of equipment and facilities. Preferred candidates will have demonstrated practical experience in a Stamping and Assembly environment. Additionally Fanuc robot experience will be preferred. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background who enjoy troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance in a dynamic environment. The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in maintaining safety, efficiency, and reliability across our operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify root causes of equipment failures.
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Recover faulted equipment or automation robots as needed
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, saws, and other equipment necessary for repairs.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams for troubleshooting purposes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and reporting issues.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in industrial or facility maintenance is necessary
