Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Assist in organizing and storing clean items in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff.
- Support food preparation activities by providing clean utensils and cookware as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a hygienic work environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet the demands of busy service periods efficiently.
- Restock supplies and report any maintenance issues with dishwashing equipment promptly.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, food handling, or food service environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of restaurant or hotel operations, including food preparation and hospitality standards, is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail to ensure sanitary standards are met.
- Good teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of food safety procedures and hygiene practices.
