WillowBee Psychotherapy is looking for Registered Psychotherapists and/or Social Workers to join our fully virtual team. We provide individual, couples, and family therapy with a strong focus on ADHD, trauma, relationship challenges, and neurodivergent-affirming care.
We're especially interested in clinicians who bring warmth, clinical depth, and a grounded presence to their work. Many of our clients are therapy-aware and self-reflective, working through patterns related to self-esteem, relationships, burnout, masking, and family or work dynamics.
The ability to provide therapy in French is considered a strong asset.
About WillowBee
WillowBee is a trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming practice that values autonomy, flexibility, and thoughtful clinical work. Our clinicians have the freedom to shape their caseloads, build their preferred specialties, and work in a way that feels sustainable.
We're an independent team by nature — the work is virtual and self-directed — but we meet monthly for consultation and value being connected to colleagues who care about the same things. This role is a good fit if you enjoy the autonomy of private practice but still want to be part of a warm, thoughtful team.
What We Offer
- Competitive fee-split: $90–$110 per session, with annual rate increases based on experience and performance
- Flexible scheduling — mornings, afternoons, evenings, and optional weekends
- Autonomy to set your own caseload and develop your clinical niche
- Referrals to help you build your practice
- Administrative support so you can focus on clinical work
- Case consultation and mentorship opportunities
- A neurodivergent-friendly work environment with clear communication, flexibility, and streamlined admin systems
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
- Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients
- Develop and maintain treatment plans tailored to client needs
- Maintain accurate and timely case notes in compliance with ethical and professional standards
- Practise in alignment with trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and relational principles
- Communicate clearly and professionally with admin, clients, and the clinical team
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, Social Work, Psychotherapy, or a related field
- Current registration in good standing with a relevant Ontario regulatory body (e.g., CRPO, OCSWSSW, or equivalent)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Ability to provide virtual therapy from a private, professional space
Preferred Qualifications
We're especially excited to hear from clinicians who have one or more of the following:
- Experience working with ADHD, autism, AuDHD, or other forms of neurodivergence
- Experience supporting clients with trauma, self-esteem, burnout, masking, or relational and work/family stress
- Specialized training in IFS, somatic work, polyvagal theory, EFT, ACT, DBT, or related modalities
- Fluency or strong clinical comfort in French
- Interest in developing a niche practice within a supportive group setting
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a clinician who is warm, thoughtful, and clinically grounded — someone who builds strong relationships with clients and takes the work seriously without taking themselves too seriously.
The ideal fit is someone who values autonomy but doesn't want to feel completely isolated in it. You work well independently, but you also appreciate meaningful consultation, shared clinical reflection, and being connected to a team that genuinely cares about doing good work.
We value clinicians who bring attunement, humility, curiosity, steadiness, and humanity into the room — not just technical skill.
Given the nature of this work, we prioritize continuity of care and are looking for someone interested in building and maintaining long-term client relationships within the practice.
How to Apply
Please submit your resume and answer the following questions:
- Are you registered in Ontario? (CRPO, OCSWSSW, or another relevant regulatory body)

- What are your top 2 preferred therapeutic modalities? (e.g., IFS, Polyvagal, EFT, Gottman, DBT, ACT, somatic work)
- A full caseload is typically 18–25 sessions per week. How many sessions per week would you like to have at our practice?
