RDH needed for Mondays + Wednesdays with the possibility of a third day!
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will see both children and adults while providing exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a positive and efficient dental practice environment. Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Manage patient inquiries professionally, providing excellent customer service
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Support pediatric patients by creating a welcoming environment and addressing their specific needs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations of the dental practice
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is advantageous
- Experience in dental assisting or general dental office operations is beneficial
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about oral health
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
