We are seeking a motivated Junior System Administrator to join our dedicated IT team. This role is a unique opportunity for an early-career professional to gain deep, hands-on experience in managing robust on-premises infrastructure. You will be at the heart of our technical operations, responsible for the integrity, security, and performance of our core identity services, network architecture, and server environments.

- Group Policy Management (GPO): Design, deploy, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects to manage security configurations, software deployments, and system settings across the enterprise workstation and server fleet.
- Core Network Services: Manage critical local network infrastructure, specifically DNS zones and DHCP scopes, ensuring seamless name resolution and IP address management for all internal resources.
- Server Administration: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual Windows Server environments.
- Virtualization: Support our local virtualization platform (VMware/ESXi), managing host resources and VM lifecycle.
- Automation: Utilize PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks, such as bulk user management, AD reporting, and system health checks.
- Security & Patching: Execute routine security patching, manage hardware firmware updates, and enforce internal security policies through centralized management tools.
- Infrastructure Support: Assist in maintaining physical server hardware, racks, and cable management within our data center.
- Documentation: Maintain rigorous documentation of AD structure, GPO mapping, DNS configuration, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Active Directory & GPO: Solid understanding of Active Directory architecture, including site-to-site replication, FSMO roles, and the ability to author and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects.
- Networking Foundations: Strong familiarity with core networking concepts, specifically TCP/IP, DNS troubleshooting, DHCP scope management, and VPN configurations.
- Windows Server: Proficiency in configuring and managing modern Windows Server operating systems.
- Scripting: Demonstrated experience or a strong desire to master PowerShell for automation and administrative task efficiency.
- Virtualization: Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMware or ESXi) is highly preferred.
- Education/Experience: Prior internship or hands-on experience in IT support or system administration is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Analytical problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and a proactive, "security-first" mindset.
