Key Responsibilities –
· Supervise daily Brampton warehouse operations across floor and warehouse office functions.
· Lead permanent and temporary staff, ensuring daily tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
· Act as the primary escalation point for customers on day-to-day operational requirements and service-related matters.
· Ensure all warehouse activities follow approved SOPs, customer requirements, company policies, safety standards, and systems currently in place.
· Oversee inbound receiving, put-away, picking, staging, loading, releases, cycle counts, and inventory control activities.
· Ensure accurate WMS transactions, including receiving, inventory movements, picking, shipping, adjustments, and related system updates.
· Monitor workload, labour allocation, productivity, attendance, overtime, and daily operational priorities.
· Investigate inventory discrepancies, service failures, damages, and process gaps; support CAPA, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
· Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, blind counts, empty-bin checks, LPN validation, and physical/system alignment.
· Train, coach, and support warehouse office and floor staff to improve accuracy, safety, productivity, and accountability.
· Escalate operational risks, staffing issues, capacity constraints, and customer concerns to management in a timely manner.
· Perform other operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, international trade, business, or a related field preferred.
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding, shipping, or warehouse operations.
· Previous experience in a supervisory, team lead, or senior coordinator role preferred.
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and operational reporting tools.
· Knowledge of CargoWise
