We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order within various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and possess strong cleaning and maintenance skills. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, and common spaces, following established standards
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing minor repairs, and ensuring equipment is in good working order
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning tools and products
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored
- Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Assist with special projects or deep cleaning tasks as needed to support overall facility upkeep
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning, especially commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance, is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on quality and safety standards
