Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of framing and carpentry, with a strong understanding of blueprint reading, and construction principles. Candidates should be committed to safety, quality craftsmanship, and efficient project completion.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution
- Construct and install framing structures using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipments
- Install siding, perform restoration work, and execute woodworking tasks with precision
- Operate heavy machinery safely for lifting and moving materials around the job site
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or related trades with a focus on framing
- Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and concrete forming
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
- Knowledge of restoration techniques and siding installation preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials as needed
- Valid <PERSON> certification or relevant licensing is a plus but not mandatory
