We are currently recruiting for a Administrative Assistant / backup Receptionist to join our firm in our Surrey office.
The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with a strong client service focus who can work both independently and as part of a team. In this role, you’ll provide general administrative support and reception coverage while working closely with lawyers and fellow co-workers to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
· Provide professional and positive service to clients and staff, in person and over the phone
· Provide support to the Legal Assistants as required
· Assist with photocopying and scanning as required
· Data entry and organization
· Sort and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and arrange couriers
· Answer and route telephone calls
· Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and meeting coordination
· Communicating with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
· Other relevant duties as assigned or requested
Qualifications and/or Skills:
· Reliable availability and proven attendance for scheduled days of work
· Exceptional attitude - flexible, positive, proactive, dependable, willing/able to learn new skills
· Grade 12 graduate
· Ability and desire to provide a positieve and enjoyable customer experience to clients
· Ability to multitask
· Ability to draft clear and concise correspondence
Assets (but not mandatory)
· Experience in reception and/or administration in a professional office environment
THe hourly rate is dependent on relevant experience and qulaification, with an expected range from $20 - $25 per hour.
